"Tired of complaining? I was. I am. For far too long, all I'd done was complain - I finally had enough. Montgomery failed to listen to those who elected them. I want to restore Christian, Conservative values to our legislature and our State.

I was born and raised in District One, am raising my family in District One, and set up my law practice in District One.

My goal is to serve the people of the place that has always been my home

- NOT the interests of Montgomery!

I vow to fight for our families, our Constitutional rights, and our Christian Conservative values. I pledge to be a "Candidate for public service, not politics."

Get To Know Maurice

Maurice McCaney was born and raised in the Florence, Alabama and has been a life-long resident. Before earning his Juris Doctorate of Law at Cumberland School of Law, Maurice graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus in English from Samford University.

Continuing forward, Maurice became licensed to practice law in Alabama in 2014 which provided the foundation for his current role as Attorney at Woodruff & McCaney, LLC. Maurice continues to give back to his community and justice by participating on a board level in organizations like the American Association of Christian Schools and Lauderdale County Republican Executive Committee.
